Moody Band photos are scheduled for tomorrow, July 22. A schedule and instructions follow:
3:00 Regular dismissal from band camp. Have all rides ready at the band room.
5:00 call time at the band room. Playing members arrive with band shoes, long black dress socks, black athletic style shorts, t-shirt. Auxiliaries arrive in makeup, with hair completed according to instructions, with full field uniform.
5:30 March to stadium
6:00-8:00 Band photo session at stadium
8:00 Have all rides ready at the band room no later than this time
Parents please note: Bill Miller Photography is contracted by the SCCBOE to provide photographic services to all St. Clair County schools. All photos taken during the session tomorrow are the property of Bill Miller Photography. Any individual attempts to take advantage of the session by taking personal snapshots will hinder our ability to produce official photos for the school yearbook and fall football program. Therefore, all parents and other family members wishing to take personal photos are asked to please refrain until after the Bill Miller photographer has finished his work. Please stay off the stadium field until an announcement can be made. If any time remains after the official photos are complete, but prior to 8:00 pm, parents and others may take personal photos if desired. All band members must return to the band room by 8:00 pm to store uniforms and wait for rides.
Purchasing Photos: Before departing the band room at Tuesday's dismissal, all students will be given a photo order envelope. Anyone wishing to purchase photos may do so by placing payment in the envelope and handing the envelope to the photgrapher at the session. Cash, checks, or credit cards are accepted as payment. Checks should be made payable to Bill Miller Photographers. If paying cash, no change is available, so please pay with correct change only. Photo prices for packages range from $12.00 to $30.00. Package descriptions are on the envelopes.
Inclement Weather: If bad weather prevents the photo session from taking place, Bill Miller Photographers will work to reschedule the session. In the event of a rain-out, a make-up date will be posted as soon as possible. Unless you receive a Remind 101 text from Dr. Sargent or from an auxiliary sponsor with news of a rain-out, the photo session will continue as planned. Do not assume a cancellation has occurred. If in doubt, come to the band room, even if it's raining.
Program Ad Sales: If you wish, you may use a school photo or provide your own photo to purchase an ad in the fall 2014 Moody football program book. The program book is a band booster fundraiser, so your purchase or sale of an ad comes back to support your Moody Blue Devils Band! Order forms will be sent home Tuesday afternoon and are available any time from the band room. Ad sale forms are due by August 1.
