Concession Stand

Thank you to all those that have worked to renovate our concession stand! It is almost ready for Saturday night, but we have some cleaning and finishing details that still need to be done. If you can help with this, we will be there tonight (Thursday) at 5 PM! Many hands make light work, so bring your work or cleaning gloves if you are able!

Also, a big thank you to those who have already volunteered to work in the concession stand! These are the people that have volunteered to work this Saturday night during the Anti-Bullying Rally. I would love to have one more volunteer!

4. Alecia Snyder
5. Tina Stewart
6. Russ Stewart
7. Pat Giles
8. April Price
9. Mr. Love

All workers need be at the concession stand around 4:30 PM, and need to enter the school property through the Kelly Creek Road entrance to the Middle School, as the police will have the main entrance blocked off. Plan to stay after the rally to clean up as well. If everyone stays to help, it usually doesn't take more than 30 minutes tops! The rally is suppose to be from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Upcoming Rehearsals

We have three marching band rehearsals remaining before school begins: August 9, 14, and 16, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. These rehearsals are crucial to our maintaining a minimal performance level until regular after-school rehearsals begin. Absences in any area create a hardship for others and are a detriment to the band. Please be considerate of the team and communicate with Dr. Sargent in advance. All students should bring dot books, music, water, and all other necessary items to each practice. Many thanks go out to those who attended last night's rehearsal as scheduled.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed this Thursday, August 9, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm, to help Greg McGinnis move equipment back into the renovated band concession stand. Thank you!
